HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT POLICY

It is the belief of CHIMEG INTERNATIONAL SERVICES LTD that all accidents/injuries are preventable and therefore unacceptable in her operations. CHIMEG INTERNATIONAL SERVICES LTD shall integrate HSE into her business and will vigorously pursue all accident prevention programmes through her well-structured and effective HSE Management Systems. CHIMEG INTERNATIONAL SERVICES LTD projects will, therefore be organized, planned and executed in such a manner as to:

- Protect, promote and give the highest priority to the HEALTH, SAFETY and SECURITY of its employees, contractors and members of the public. -Continually assess the impact of our operations on the ENVIRONMENT and reduce it to ALARP.

- Conduct our activities with due diligence to minimize any adverse effect to the public and host community and be sensitive their needs. Every employee of CHIMEG INTERNATIONAL SERVICES LTD shall perform his/her work in accordance with this policy, and work MUST be suspended when it is believed that essential safety systems are not in place. Management and Supervisors will be accountable for the safety of the employees working under their supervision, and will be expected to organize and conduct operations in a safe manner at all times. Employees will take reasonable care for their own safety and safety of others who may be affected by their acts or omissions and also to co-operate with statutory safety obligations which include adherence to company Policies, rules and regulations.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

CHIMEG strives to complete projects in the most efficient manner whilst maintaining the highest levels of professionalism, safety and quality. We believe in the philosophy, that a well-managed and engineered project will lead to optimum scheduling and costing. With this in mind, CHIMEG has invested significant resources to develop project control procedures and an integrated project management system. ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT

CHIMEG has a well-equipped engineering department capable of handling diverse projects at multiple locations. Because the engineering section is the prime mover for any project; we have continuously expanded our technical capabilities and activity.

We have the experience, equipment and commitment of our engineering staff to offer expertise in all disciplines and to provide innovative solutions. In addition, because of our project management abilities, we can help and assist clients to meet and comply with any budgetary constraints.

mATERIALS MANAGEMENT

The Materials Department procures, either directly supplied or via approved vendors, all the material and equipment required to complete a project.

The Materials Department's activities include:

• Material Take-off

• Material control

• Procurement

• Inventory

QA/QC MANAGEMENT

CHIMEG QA/QC procedures conform to ISO 9000 to 9002. All engineering work performed is conducted under the review of a licensed professional engineer responsible for the project. Engineering documents are reviewed in a process patterned after ISO 9000 prior to submission for approval. Trained craftsmen under the careful supervision of experienced supervisors carry out all fabrication and construction activities. A QA/QC manager will also be a line manager responsible throughout the entire duration of the project.

HSE PHILOSOPHY

The HSE philosophy adopted by CHIMEG INTERNATIONAL SERVICES LTD

• All occupational and environmental incidents are avoidable

• All operations can & must be performed safety and with minimal environmental impact

• All personnel have the right and responsibility to stop any work they feel may be unsafe.

SAFETY SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM

CHIMEG INTERNATIONAL SERVICES LTD maintains an effective staff surveillance system as below:

Any individual upon employment will fill personnel forms with comprehensive details about themselves and their kin. A movement register is maintained, which is logged with details of personnel movement, departure & arrival times. Each site has and Administrative Officer who will prepare daily reports A visitor's logbook is maintained.

SAFETY AWARENESS

CHIMEG INTERNATIONAL SERVICES LTD safety department regularly prepares reports emanating from the Safety Policy for the attention of all employees and contractors.

A computerized planning system for scheduling, controlling and reporting progress of work is in place at all work sites. A management safety committee acts as the guardian of HSE policies and objectives.

Safety training courses, both in-house and external, are conducted on a regular basis encompassing but not limited to the following areas;

• Industrial first aid

• Basic fire prevention

• Site unsafe condition audit

• Materials handling

• Defensive driving

• Accident reporting and investigation

• Marine CASHES awareness training
